International RDs and DTRs
Every year The Hunger and Environmental Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group (HEN DPG) offers a scholarship to an RD or DTR who is working internationally in the food security or sustainable food systems arena. The scholarship provides a one-year paid membership to the American Dietetic Association and to the Hunger and Environmental Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. Application deadline is February 15th.

Become a Friend of HEN
Individuals who are not eligible for membership in the American Dietetic Association but are interested in issues of nutrition, food security, and sustainable food systems are encouraged to join as a Friend of HEN. Feel free to download a copy of the membership brochure.
Student Members
Student members are important to the growth of the American Dietetic Association and the DPGs. Thus, HEN has created a new Student Committee that is working with the DPG to create a Student Corner in the newsletter and a special Student section on the HEN website. We encourage students to learn more about sustainable and accessible food and water systems and thus have a special student membership rate of just $15. If you are a student interested in HEN membership, download the special student application.
